Slice Type is a geometrically constructed layer font. The idea was to create a font for headlines, cover and poster that combines bold and light elements in the same typeface.
All 6 styles can be combined to several different bodys.
Using 3 colors for 1 letter or creating 3D effects with the layers on top of each other is fun for screen print or animation. The single elements of the slice-styles itself give a lot of space for an experimental way of using type. For illustrations or logo-design it is nice to explore new shapes without defining them as letters.
